Tenant Cancellation Policies

Refund eligibility depends on when you cancel relative to the move-in date.

Flexible Most Popular	Up to 14 days before move-in	Full refund of the deposit and rent. SafeRent service fee is non-refundable.
Moderate	Up to 30 days before move-in	50% refund of the deposit. Full refund of the first month's rent.
Strict	Up to 60 days before move-in	No refund on the deposit. 50% refund of the first month's rent if canceled early enough.
Post Move-in	Anytime after handover	Standard 30-day notice required. Security deposit refund depends on property condition during checkout.

Landlord Cancellations: If a landlord cancels an approved request or a signed contract before move-in, the tenant receives a 100% full refund (including service fees). The landlord may face penalties or suspension for unreliable behavior.
